Bad smell coming from my earring holes? :(?

My ears were infected, so I left a pair of studs in for two weeks and I could tell they healed today, so I just took them out. But when I took them out, there was white goop on the earrings and a terrible smell coming from my ear holes. I know this is really gross, but if they are not oozing and aren't infected, what is this? Thanks :)
