Christians when it says it is appointed on to all men to die at least once does that mean we all go to hell?

Atleast one time before we are resurrected for judgement someone told me hell (1st death) is not the eternal death but the lake of fire is the eternal death and it is also the second death. Does that mean we go to hell once before resurrection?
