Is my cartilage piercing infected? if so how do I heal it?

I got my cartilage pierced early June, and it is still very painful. In about October I had an incident where my earring fell out, causing my piercing to partially close up, I re pierced my ear. Ever since this happened the whole cartilage on my pierced ear has been very red, very irritated/painful, and bleeds whenever I try to change my earring. There is also yellowish colored goop coming out of the piercing. Its icky. I have recently been putting hydrogen peroxide on my ear but I quit after I heard that it's not good for piercing. So what should I do to heal my ear if it is infected??
