I only get my period every 4-6 months?

i started my period roughly 2 and a half years ago, and from then i've never had a regular period. for the first 4 periods i got every 6 months, and this was very unpredictable because i never knew when it was coming and this worried me. however, i had a period early January and then came again in mid-May- 4 months. I went to my doctor and she said that it's normal to have irregular periods due to all the hormonal changes in your body, and that i should wait for around another year or so and if things aren't in order by then, then she would put me on the pill. why isn't my body working regularly, and what causes the delay in period arrival? could this affect my health and fertility? thanks x

first off hun yes it is very unlikely to become pregnant if you are not ovulating me and my partner have been trying to conceive (only for 2 months now) but thats while im ovulating and im taking all the right stuff so you have used protection and he didnt come u have absolutely nothing to worry about. those symptoms are all in your head you do not start experiencing any symptoms until your 4 weeks pregnant and thats when you have missed your period than you may have a little morning sickness around 6 weeks. i would stop stressing because stress can make you sick and also your body can trick itself into thinking your pregnant and give you symptoms such as a missed period or spotting. so just sit back and relax.

My kitten has been diagnosed with bacterial conjunctivitis?

they prescribed him a triple antibiotic ocular ointment which he turned out to be allergic to and was administered benadryl. I went back to my vets and they gave me another ointment to use instead, just a basic ointment mainly for kittens, and he isn't swelling up with this ointment, however, his eyes seem far more worse than they were when i was just cleaning them and not using any medication. the reason i brought him to the vet in the first place is because he had green goop coming out of one of his eyes. also, could it just be viral if it was green and should i take a shot at leaving it alone for the next few days to see what it does without the medication? please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kittens with eyes crusted shut?

I have a litter of 5 kittens. One of these kittens has one eye that has been crusted shut, and another has both eyes crusted shut. when i discovered this, I dabbed the eyes with a warm washcloth and eventually eased them open, every day since then the eye is eather crusted shut again, crusted halfway shut, or has a bunch of yellow goop around it. On top of it all, just this morning I discovered that momma cat has yellow goop surronding her eye now. Is this serious enough that i should get medicine? or just continue as I have? it doesnt seem to be getting better

Cleaning USED gas grill?

I recently got a USED gas grill. It's a char-broil and in decent condition. but the previous owners didn't care for it very well. the inside was covered in goop! i mean about 1/2" of grease and who knows what else!!! All around the inside sides and the bottom. the grates are distgusting. I can handle cleaning the grates no problem. i was told to get as much gunk out as i could, then spray with easy off and rinse clean with the garden hose. i don't know if i should do that. I mean, is it safe to use the hose like that INSIDE the grill?? Should I remove the burners from the insdie? if so....HOW???? the stuff is really caked in there good! please help! my son really wants to grill this weekend and i'm no savant when it comes to grilling or cleaning a gas grill.....thank yoU!

Well, although I am not entirely a Christian (although I have explored this religion and feel as though I have rooted myself here for the start of my search for God/Truth/meaning/etc), I certainly agree with you. People get SO caught up with all the conflicts and arguments, they forget the essential message of Christianity. I also am not saying it is not good to be knowledgeable or understand different theories, even if they do conflict, or even discuss your views and opinions with other people; I do not think it is good to dispute over something trivial, as is the case more times than not. Yes, there was a beginning to the world, and Christians have their views on how that came to be about. Scientists hold contrasting views, to which they can provide evidence. The Bible I believe also has evidence of being inspired by a higher power (like in Exodus, how could they have randomly guessed all those 'clean practices' that are actually legitimate?!) but when it comes down to it how it really, truly happened: NO ONE KNOWS! No one was there to actually obverse and write it down. We can speculate and come up with our best guess, but we cannot turn the clocks back and know 100%, so why bother? Why hate on people when Jesus was supposed to have come to show us how to love? If ever this world goes back into its rightful state, maybe things will be different. Until then, may you move through life with an open heart and an open mind, always in the direction of God and his light.

Earring won't go through!?

I got my ears pierced 8 weeks ago and today i took out the studs they pierced them with. I tried to put new ones in, and it went in fine in one ear, but in the other there is a small knot and the back is kind of purple. every time i try to stick it through it bleeds! when i took the first stud out it looked like there was this goop stuff on the back of the earring. My Cat just gave birth!?

My cat had her kittens. We weren't around forr the birth because we were sleeping. We woke up and my cat had a kitten in her bed with her and shes licking it and nursing it. What to do about 3mo olds eye goo?

My son is 3 months. About a week ago I noticed his left eye had some goop in it. A couple days later he and I both came down with colds. 97 dodge dakota 4x4 wheel cylinders?

Hi the short story is i just picked up a dodge dakota 4x4 ext. 318 with about 150k the brake pedal traveled all the way to the floor so i took the drums apart and discovered the wheel cylinders were leaking there was goop all over so i am in process of replacing wheel cylinders drums and shoes but having trouble getting brake line off cylinder i have tried heating it up almost cherry red, using penetrating oil, and even got the metal line flare wrenches and all it does is round off more on the hex my question is would it be a totally bad idea to just cut the line from cylinder to proportion valve and using the special socket for rounded hex heads to remove from the valve and replace the line, cylinder, shoes, and drums? wont matter how much i spend on this project as long as its all fixed in the end. i have exhausted all my other options and don't really wanna do that since lines are still very solid but its frustrating if anyone has any other ideas its appreciated

Is my cartilage piercing infected? if so how do I heal it?

I got my cartilage pierced early June, and it is still very painful. In about October I had an incident where my earring fell out, causing my piercing to partially close up, I re pierced my ear. Ever since this happened the whole cartilage on my pierced ear has been very red, very irritated/painful, and bleeds whenever I try to change my earring. There is also yellowish colored goop coming out of the piercing. Its icky. I have recently been putting hydrogen peroxide on my ear but I quit after I heard that it's not good for piercing. So what should I do to heal my ear if it is infected??

Black Head Waxing? Really, what is it?

Okay, I am away from my ever so loved spa. I love what they call their black head waxing procedure. It literally gets them all out. It's not a pretty process but it works. My radio does not work in my '06 dodge dakota?

Yesterday, I was cleaning the dash in my dakota and I popped out a little light above my radio to clean goop off of it. After I put it back together I noticed my clock radio display malfunctioning. Bleeding heavy between period for months?

Reading your story is like hearing mine all over again. This was happening me for months on end! Heavy bleeding in-between periods, and alot of pain. I eventually got my doctor to refer me to a gynaecologist . I went for a number of ultra sounds starting in July 2010. They found a choclate cyst about 3 cm on my right ovary and what looked like endometriosis. She explained to me that going on birth control would stop the cyst growing anymore and stop the endo from spreading. My partner and I decided at that point we would try conceive. 6 months past and still no hope , the pain and the bleeding were getting worse. I had an appointment for January 2011 for another ultrasound where they found the cyst had grown to 8 cm and the endo had also gotten worse. It was then she said I needed a laparosopy to remove the cyst and endo. I had that done February 8th 2011. I had stage 4 endo which is the worst. It was stopping me from ovulating hence the reason I was not conceiving. The doctor told me I will have no problem in conceiving now . I have had one period since then and the bleeding has stopped in-between. Hope you get it sorted soon. Baby dust to you.

I don't want my kids to be "sticky"?

As a child, I was always clean. I hated being around all other little kids because there hands and faces were always covered in some form of sticky goop, they did gross things like eat dirt, and pick there nose, and always had there hair tangled and didn't like to brush their teeth. When I was little, I used to go hiking with my dad and I would sometimes fall and get dirt on my clothes, but I firmly belive that kids should just be dirt covered and disgusting all the time, because it really isn't healthy. Rust returned on car..?

So i have a 2001 Pontiac Grand prix that has some rust coming through near the underside of the car (mostly around the bottom of the doors and such). So a few weeks ago my dad and i attempted to fix it by: sanding off all the rust, filling in the holes with some goop stuff from autozone, then applied some black paint that was supposed to keep the rust from returning. the can said to wait 3 days before applying primer and paint. so we did just that and after 3 days applied the primer and then after a few days, applied paint. So it was looking all good until a few days ago, i noticed that some rust was coming back through. What am I doing wrong?

I am staining my friends guitar fret board. It's white with few but deep long grains. It is probably a super cheap wood my guess is pine. I removed the old stain and sanded it down to 80-grit. After six or seven coats I decided I wanted it a lot smoother. So I figured I could do two coats then sand with 150-grit. Then two more coats with a 220-grit. Finally two more coats and finish it with 330-grit. However after my first attempt to sand it with 150-grit nearly all the stain came right off. Almost in like a waxy goop. I always wipe of any excess stain with a dry cloth but I guess it just had way to much build up. If someone could give me exact instructions that would make my day.

I was offered a job on March initially, but because of the large volume of new hirings, they had to delay my hiring. Kitten eye infection treatment? ?

My 2 1/2 kitten has an infection in one eye, it is swollen shut, the skin around it reddish, and has green goop around it. It's obvious it's an infection, but it's 8:20 PM where I am and the vets are all closed, I'll take him in first thing in the morning, but for now what can I do? if the hospital will not take her it means she is not sick enough to take up a bed ... that is reality and you better accept it ... your sister does sound sick but if counseling has been suggested, the professionals feel she is not bad enough to be admitted to an in-patient program ... so instead of fighting the professionals, do the counseling ... and in many instances eating disordered kids do so for control, so there are some family issues that could be dealt with with counseling whether you want to acknowledge that or not ... and the other reality is, many eating disordered people continue to have the issue due to enabling by the family ... so i can see why counseling was suggested ... just because your sister has lost a great deal of weight, it obviously is not effecting her health enough to be admitted ... the kids admitted to the hospital are kids whose organs are shutting down, kids so skinny that death is their next stop ... your sister is not there yet ... and with an angry, in denial family, she could be there ... so why not take the professionals help and suggestions and when you have graduated from university and specialized in eating disorders, maybe then you can make the decisions for your sister ... but right now no one is helping her ... it has nothing to do with canadian health care (you know what your sister would get in the united states, a big fat kick in the *** unless the family has over 60 thousand dollars for in-patient treatment) ... and it is sad for your sister because if this is your attitude, blaming, denial, how can your sister even hope to get better ??? and if your parents gave her everything, maybe that is part of the problem ... why did your parents not protect her from the bully by switching schools ??? quit blaming and focus on your sister ... start the counseling with an open mind otherwise you are only hurting your sister ...

Burning oil and goop on manual Saab?

I was driving a friend's 1997 Saab today, when something went wrong. It's a stick shift and I had some trouble getting it to go up a steep hill. Rescued litter of kittens all with eye problems?

I have just found a litter of abandoned kittens under a vacant trailer. The area where they were living was not suitable for growing kittens so I have taken them, trying my best to clean them up and find them homes. I am living with another family, and cannot keep them. The kittens all have TERRIBLE looking eyes. I'm not sure if this is normal, or if it's actually that bad. I have taken warm wash cloths and gotten the sticky pus like goop off and when they go to sleep they wake up with their eyes stuck shut. Is this normal? I cannot afford to take them all to the vet, is there anything I can use to help this? Also, as cats are so overpopulated im having trouble giving them away. Questions about late period?

So my period usually comes around the 25th or 26th of each month. But last month I got a really bad virus and was really sick so my period was delayed to the 29th. My cycle is around 31-32 days. My cats eye is goopy?

Well pink eye is an infection, and infection does cause pus. If the prescribed drops are all used up, and it's past the time that the vet said it should be cleared up, I would go back again and try to get antibiotics for the cat. My cat was born with an eye infection and it's infection was so bad we literally didn't think he HAD an eye behind all the pus that was there... we had to suck all the pus out with a dropper multiple times a day, and feed it antibiotics, which is a pain in itself... but I'd go back to the vet if the treatment is supposed to be finished.

He now speaks in 3-5 word sentences and has more single words than i can count.
