What does it mean when my dog has green goop in the inner corners of her eyes?

acouple of days ago i saw that my dog had some green goop in the inner corner of her eyes and i just wiped it away. but then it was there again the next day and i went online and it said to try eye drops and i did for about 3 days and nothing happend it just got worse so if anyone knows what it might be please help! thank u <333
