Why didn't Tzedukim (Sadducees) believe in resurrection? What were their reason for that?

First of all, the idea of a resurrection was a relatively late development in Judaism, so they would be right in line with a certain part of their heritage to reject it. Beyond that, they were Roman collaborators, so they didn't like the idea of a resurrection and a judgment.
