New Show Bridle Has Goop on it!!!!?

ok so i got a brand new (so they say) show bridle off of eBay. Ive had it for about 4ish weeks now, and its like leaking goop out of its sides. It's like 2 pieces of leather glued together, then cheaply stitched around the edges. What can I do to get the goop to stop gooping out? It's so bad I don't even wanna put it on my horse!
