My eyes were shut together this morning?/?

okay so yesterday my right eye was closed when i woke up by some green yellow goop stuff and this morning my left eye did the same thing... they are both red kinda puffy i know people all say pink eye but when ever i put in eye drops the red goes away but it comes back... should i go to the doc or do u think its just a bad case of allergies?
