How does fly "resurrection" trick works?

Well it's used mostly like a magic trick. Firstly you drown a fly then after it stops moving you remove it from the water and place it on a table. Then you cover it in salt and after about 5 minutes it starts moving and flies away. So anyone knows why it works?
